new things to put out but we’ll happily listen to new music.
DEMO POLICY
While
we are more than happy to listen to demos and genuinely enjoy it,
please read the following carefully...it should help us and you.
We
listen to everything that is sent in. however, if we have a backlog
of demos to listen to, please bear in mind that we probably won't
be able to listen to anything immediately (about a couple of weeks
is probably realistic)
Just
so you know, we don't have an a&r 'department' we just tend
to listen to demos during our free time.
Some
advice...
1.
What we look for is music that sounds exciting and different.
2.
Whilst we love new music, we have things to do like running a label,
so rather than sending us everything you have been working on for
your entire life, please be selective and choose only what you feel
are the best tracks. That’s not to say we’d refuse to
listen to a 4 hour rock opera/odyssey - it's just not really practical
or physically possible, so it might take a lot longer for us to
get back to you.
3.
We can only accept cd-r's if at all possible, you can send us linksbut this might add a delay.
4.
Please also make sure that a contact email or number is written
on the actual cd and not just on the case.
5.
Sorry, we apologise in advance, but we don't always have the time
to reply or comment (either by phone or email) on everything we
receive. but if we do like it you can be sure
that we will contact you.

Sea Records is a small independent label with limited resources,
if we don’t sign you up immediately, that doesn't mean it
isn't good and that another label won't release it.
